Congratulations to Maureen McCool of Farmington, Maine for organizing the 2nd Annual Chester Greenwood 5k Walk/Run that took place there on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Maureen is a brain aneurysm survivor and an active member of the Maine Brain Aneurysm Support Group.
Over 50 people came out on a picture perfect morning and enjoyed the 5K run and walk. One of the many highlights of the event – the runners received Maureen’s hand made earmuffs sporting the event logo and a gift bag of homemade cookies. Congratulations to Nick Citriglia (in Santa suit) for winning in a time of 19:25 and all that participated.
Funds raised by the event will help support the Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee efforts to provide education, awareness, and research. A big THANK YOU to Maureen, Peter, Jessie, Dick, Doug, and the folks in Farmington area for supporting this event to raise money and awareness.
