What a fantastic weekend for Brain Aneurysm Awareness with NASCAR driver Joey Gase and The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Along with Medtronic and The Lisa Foundation logo, there were pictures of those lost to or surviving a Brain Aneurysm including Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness and our Maine son and daughters: Kim Tudor, Karo Kurka, Cheyanne Audet, and Nolan Berthelette.
From Todd Crawford, Founder and Executive Director of the TLCF: “We want to THANK all of you for your support this weekend. It was never about winning the race. Joey could have put the car into the wall on the first lap and we still would have accomplished our goals and objectives. In my heart, I wanted a top 25 finish and a healthy Joey. He delivered. The 32 souls along for the ride guaranteed us a great race.
This weekend was for all of those who have been affected by brain aneurysms. Lost, survived or yet to be diagnosed. This disease doesn’t take time off….even weekends….and neither can we. We will let the world know about brain aneurysms and save many, many lives along the way. We’ve just scratched the surface and won’t stop until our mission is complete.”
The Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee thank Joey and Todd for making this all possible and helping to save lives.
