We are so proud and thankful of the effort put in by the Lisa Colagrossi Foundation and Joey Gase, driver of the #15, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 last weekend. Joey was on the lead lap and had a great shot at a top 15 finish had it not been for a major pile up of cars with only several laps to go. If the damage to his car had been just an inch to the right, it would have missed the radiator and he would have been able to continue to a great finish.
The Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee was pleased to have several of our Maine folks with memory ribbons on the car: Kim Tudor, Karolina Kurka, Cheyanne Audet and Nolan Berthelette. Committee member and BA survivor, Heidi McCausland and her sister, Dori White also had ribbons on the car.
Once again, we thank Todd Crawford, The Lisa Colagrossi Foundation, Medtronic, and Joey Gase for all the hard work of putting this sponsorship together and providing this wonderful opportunity to “Shed light on Brain Aneurysms”.
