With heavy hearts, the Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee sadly announces the passing of Arthur Piteau, our co-founder and vice president. Art passed away on Thursday morning after bravely facing various illnesses and injuries.
Art guided and coached Kim Tudor until her tragic passing from a brain aneurysm in 2008. He played a vital role in our mission to honor Kim’s memory, leading to the creation of the KAT-Walk for Brain Aneurysm Awareness and our organization.
Up until Art faced difficult health issues, he passionately promoted raising awareness about brain aneurysms. He stood behind our efforts from the beginning, offering unwavering support. We will always be grateful to him.
His warm smile, mischievous sense of humor, and dedication to raising awareness about brain aneurysms will be deeply missed. Arthur has found peace, and we believe Kim welcomed him home with a warm embrace.
