The Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee Medical Education Fund supports the education for interventional radiology technologists and nurses, and clinical nurses caring for neurologically impaired patients. This annual $5,000 fund is intended to expand the expertise, and promote excellence and professionalism for clinicians caring for neurological patients.
So far since its inception, $10, 325 has been expended in the program funding 24 Medical technicians and nurses to attend conferences including AANN Stroke Conference, SVIN Annual Meeting, and the American Assoc. of Neuroscience Nurses Annual Conference.
