Family Assistance Fund
at the time of immediate need
The MBAAC Family Assistance Fund provides debit cards for meals, lodging, transportation, and other expenses to Maine families (affected by Brain Aneurysm or Hemorrhagic Stroke) in immediate need of financial help.
Meals
During stressful times we know eating isn't a top priority, but keeping your strength up while caring for your loved one is important.
Lodging
If you don't live close to the hospital your loved was taken to, we understand how important it is to stay close.
Transporation
For those unable to drive to and from the hospital, taking a taxi or an uber is an unexpected expense.
Other Expenses
At times, you may need simple day-to-day items like toothpaste or gas for your car. We can assist in taking that burden off.
This assistance is our small way to help put family members at ease, giving them the ability to focus on what is most crucial – the health and well-being of their loved one during a difficult time.
