Congratulations to Maureen McCool of Farmington, Maine for organizing the 3rd Annual Chester Greenwood 5k Walk/Run that took place on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Maureen is a brain aneurysm survivor and an active member of the Maine Brain Aneurysm Support Group.
Folks in Farmington came out on a picture perfect (yet chilly and windy) morning and enjoyed the early morning 5K run and walk. In keeping with Farmington’s overall 40th celebration of Chester Greenwood (local entrepreneur & inventor of the earmuffs) – all the participants received Maureen’s hand made earmuffs sporting the event logo.
Funds raised by the event will help support the Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee efforts to provide education, awareness, and research. A sincere & heartfelt THANK YOU to Maureen, Peter, Jessie, Dick, Doug, and the Farmington community for supporting this event to raise money and awareness.
