It’s been a busy few weeks for your Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee.
March 29th
Artie and Dave had the opportunity to be one of 22 exhibitors at Unum’s Walk Way’s 2017, where we promoted Brain Aneurysm Awareness and our KAT-Walk & Karo-5k on September 9th.
March 30th
Heidi and Dave hosted our booth at the Maine Brain Injury Resource Fair in Augusta and had the opportunity to talk with many health care providers, Brain Injury patients, and Brain Aneurysm Survivors (two of which joined us at our monthly Support Group meeting in Portland that same evening).
April 7th
Dave, Heidi, and Sara manned our exhibit booth at the University of New England’s Brain Fair. The annual event was wonderfully attended by hundreds of kids & families from southern Maine, where they participated in many hands on and interactive activities while learning all about the fantastic brain.
Our thanks to all that hosted, sponsored, & participated at these events – giving us the opportunity to educated and raise awareness about Brain Aneurysms.
