2021 #BobStrong Family Fundraiser

Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness was pleased to have the opportunity to have an informational tent at the #BobStrong Fundraising event in Wells, Maine on Saturday.

Due to Covid19, we have not attended any of our usual brain conferences, fairs, and support events since March of 2020. So, we were thrilled to pitch our tent once again.

The day included CrossFit activities, a 31-mile bike-a-thon, cookout, kid’s activities, and a HUGE silent auction to benefit recent brain aneurysm survivor, Bob Hoffman and his family. It was a wonderful event with about 200 visitors and participants all coming out to show their love and support. Bob has some work yet to do in his healing process since his rupture in March, but he has a wonderful team of family, friends, and health professionals around him. MBAAC was pleased to be there to answer questions and offer words of encouragement, as well as make a donation to help with medical expenses.

Our sincere thank-you to Katie, family, & staff of CrossOver Fitness Maine for putting on such a wonderful event, thank-you to the Well’s community for coming out in support of a fellow neighbor, and we especially thank our committee members Linda C. and Amy H. for spending the day with Dave & Heidi lending a helping hand.
