Know the Signs & Symptoms for Strokes

As we come to the end of “STROKE AWARENESS MONTH”, we remind everyone of the importance of knowing the signs & symptoms of a Stroke and Brain Aneurysm rupture:

  • Sudden onset, severe thunderclap, “WORST HEADACHE OF YOUR LIFE”
  • Loss of Balance
  • Loss of Eyesight or pain behind eye
  • Facial Drooping
  • Arm Weakness
  • Speech Difficulty
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Stiff neck or neck pain

Strokes are the No. 1 cause of disability and the No. 4 cause of death in the United States. THIS IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY – SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.  Remember: W H O L – B E F A S T.
