TEAMS and fundraisers play a big part of the success of the KAT-Walk & Karo-5K and we want to give a word of appreciation to each of them for their tremendous support of this year’s event.
Honor Team & Special Recognition
This year’s HONOR TEAM, Team Moo-Moo holds a special place in our committee’s heart as its name-sake, LeRay Bassett, or Moo Moo, as her grandchildren call her, celebrates her 50th anniversary of surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm! Also honored was Committee member, Amy Higgins celebrating her 30th anniversary of a ruptured Brain Aneurysm in 1995. READ BOTH THEIR STORIES…

This year’s top fundraising team was Team Karolina with over $7,000 raised in memory of the 14th year anniversary of Karolina’s passing from a ruptured brain aneurysm. We thank Mira and the entire Kurka family for your stalwart support and friendship over the years.
