Outreach Events

Over the past 15 years, we have had the opportunity to attend and exhibit at many medical and neurological conferences, resource fairs, and wellness events. They have allowed us wonderful venues to raise brain aneurysm awareness, educate the public and health care community about the signs and symptom, and meet many BA survivors and families affected by Brain Aneurysm. 

Outreach events have included: Mystery Rides, EMS conferences, Stroke & Brain Injury conferences, and brain & wellness fairs. We have participated in brain aneurysm family fundraisers and non-profit days. We have had the opportunity to tell our story on TV and sponsored an 8 foot banner for the season at the Sea Dogs. We even helped sponsor a NASCAR driver and had the names/pictures of some of our Maine son and daughters lost to a Brain Aneurysm displayed on the car.

These events supplement our main happenings: Dine for Awareness, Dance for Awareness, and of course, our annual KAT-Walk & Karo-5K.
